reGenesis Village is a master‑planned community proposed for Thomas County, designed to provide permanent, affordable housing to our homeless neighbors within a supportive, relationship‑centered environment being developed by Revashay Ministries, Inc.
Inspired by Mobile Loaves and Fishes Community First! Village in Austin, TX, this model is intentionally structured to support our neighbors transitioning out of chronic homelessness. In addition to high‑quality, affordable housing, residents will benefit from an integrated network of volunteer next‑door mentors who live within the community and provide consistent relational support. The onsite Center for Hope and Healing will offer comprehensive care—including medical and mental health services, as well as trauma healing and addiction recovery support—to promote lasting restoration and well-being. This holistic approach strengthens long‑term housing retention, fosters social connectedness, and enhances overall well‑being.

192 sq ft permanent affordable homes will contain a bathroom with a shower and a toilet, and a kitchenette with a single burner induction cooktop, a microwave, an under counter refrigerator, and a sink.
The development will consist of pocket neighborhoods—small clusters of permanent, affordable homes with front porches that are arranged around shared common green spaces with shared outdoor kitchens —to promote safety, stability, natural community interaction, and a sense of home.
Other buildings and spaces will provide provide opportunities for neighbors to gather for a meal, activities, and services – laundry rooms, a community garden, a community clinic, and more.
